Hi, I'm François Géraud Nicolas, a passionate photographer from France. Thank you for coming this far.

The Story

Photography has always been one of my various interests, but it is most likely the one that has stood out the most over time. It started to get serious in 2017 when I was planning my first steps outside Europe to fulfil an old dream. I was well aware that this trip would happen only once and photography felt like the best solution to make it last longer. I started to study thoroughly, bought a new camera, and was ready to give it a go from a new angle. Little by little, I extended this idea to capture any beautiful and singular moment. Finally, it brought me here to meet you and introduce my work. You can find the evolution of my journey through my Instagram (@nfg99.3).

The Purpose

At first, I thought a camera was a mere tool that would allow time to stop in a frame. But it was more than that. It helped me open my eyes and taught me how to contemplate, to find value and beauty where nothing used to catch my attention and to feel when I was only indifferent. It is about capturing the singularity of a moment, paying tribute to what existed. A scene only happens once but can be felt again and again. I intend to grasp some that will pass before my eyes, and I hope it will catch your attention. If it does, then my work is complete.
