NFT Collections
The Idea
For several years now, I have been following the rise of blockchain technology and its applications in the digital world. More than a trend, I believe this technology can improve the internet. As with NFTs, by bringing the digital world closer to the real world through its non-fungible nature.
Regarding photography, I like that NFTs respect the singularity of pictures. Unlike a simple digital image, the NFT cannot be copied and deleted as one wishes. The photographer has the power back over his work, creating real value for the owner to acquire. That is why I believe this idea fits in perfectly with my philosophy.
The Project
I want to remain consistent in the philosophy behind my work. The plan was to release 1/1 collections of 10 photos around a common theme. I know this is not much, but I want to stay true to my method. As I mentioned above, I like NFTs for their non-fungible characteristics. So there is only one NFT per image. I also want to be sure that I respect the theme and only offer my favourite shots. That is why the first collections are limited to 10 NFTs.
The inspiration for the first collection is autumn and the changing colours of the leaves in South Korea. The second collection features beautiful Icelandic winter landscapes. I don't have any current plan for a third collection right now. Feel free to take a look with the below links.
